Not much for me personally However Prince Charles and Camilla would not be married but for the ECHR The marriage Act of 1836 prevents any senior royal from marrying in a civil ceremony The ECHR has since 2000 required legislation to be interpreted whenever possible in a way that it is compatable with the right to marry (article 12) and with the right to enjoy that right without discrimination (article 14 )For me that makes Prince Charles' attitude questionable on quite a few impotrant subjects (will start another thread for that)
