Re Chik'n licensing application and hours

The Solicitor acting for Chik'n has confirmed that their application does NOT ask for 2am closing at any time. It is a restaurant along the lines of Nandos. As a result of objection letters they  will be withdrawing the part of the application that mentioned the sale of alcohol off premises. A condition will be put on the licence that alcohol can only be bought with the purchase of food. And they only sell craft beer. No spirits or wine. There is no outdoor seating either. Just thought I ought to clarify. Thanks

If memory serves, it's 23.00 (closing 23.30) Sun - Thurs,  and 00.00 (closing 00.30) Fri and Sat. Perhaps new councillors can be approached re rubbish and bikers? Token Yard is private property I believe, and needs the council to step in and sort it out.

At the moment enterprises that succeed on Putney High Street are mostly those that offer food and drink! There are however some important points in the previous post that require attention. The issues that Penelope highlights are unsolved: Bikers plus the rubbish bags in Token Yard represent a particularly unpleasant feature. These matters as well as the rubbish generated by granting the proposed venue a license will not improve either the landscape or the quality of life in Putney.

the problem of the delivery bikers parked in Token Yard remains unresolved . They are a hazard to anyone walking past the proposed ChicknShack , and also the situation regarding location of their big rubbish bins and whether they will be left on the pavement  is not clear . Also the mass  dumping of bags of  household rubbish in Token yard has not been tackled and likely to continue , and currently the bikers just ride over them, splitting them and splilling rubbish all over the place .
