Deadcat reshuffle

Having presided over the Conservative meltdown in London Johnson’s spin doctors are dropping heavy hints about a summer reshuffle and a “refocusing” on their core issues (do they have any?). He’s a specialist at this technique of changing the media focus. I just hope the Queen doesn’t die soon as that would provide months of dead cattery.Nick

My God you're all prepared to lambast Johnson if the Queen dies even though none of you doctors have an idea how long the good lady may have.Perhaps you have forgotten the opportunistic Blair after Dianas death.Can you all return to being expert virologists etc as you were during the pandemic.

Nick does say "I just hope the Queen doesn’t die soon" so I don't think he was intending to b disrespectful. The Queen is ageing and it's a reality that has to be faced and, unfortunately, one could see Johnson and his current cabinet trying to use such an event for their own political purposes. Let's face I, Johnson has shown he's prepared to use the Queen before: remember, he got her to prorogue parliament illegally in 2019? Anyway, although the Queen has obvious mobility problems, in other respects she looks like she may have a few more years in her yet? (And I'm saying that's someone who isn't a royalist!)
