sad but preventable disaster

Last evening one of the cats who sits on the front wall of my flats was mauled by dog off lead  Terminal  Surprisingly was a labrador  PLEASE keep dogs on lead even if normally docile  Was very traumatic

Well, I've not seen much in the way of enforcement for anything... So don't expect anything to happen.

Very, very sad and I feel for the cat's owners.  No dog is bomb-proof. However, local bye-laws do rule that dogs must be on leads, so the owner was not following the rules.  Obviously this won't bring back the poor cat's life.  I hope the dog's owner feels sufficiently contrite.  My thought are with the cat's owners

Poor puss.😢Poor owner must be heartbroken.💔 Even the most docile dog can suddenly turn into a dangerous one. 😟
