Anybody know anything about 16mm cine projector?

I've just bought a 2nd hand one, and was assured it was in good working order when it left them. Seems to have a small fault now which may have happened in transit, which prevents me from showing our old family films from 30's onwards. Having trouble finding anyone in London with 16mm knowledge. Don't think it's a big job. Thought it worth asking here! Thanks

Thanks all. I'll try those suggestions. I did take it down to the Repair clinic at St Mary's, but aside from some excitement from a couple of parents, who were keen to show their children how we used to watch films in the 'old' days, no one could help. It does needd some specialist knowledge, so I'll try your great ideas. Thanks very much

The Cinema Museum (over in SE11) may well need to have sources of technical aid, for their collection. So worth checking with them for suggestions. They are a good bunch.http://www.cinemamuseum.org.uk/

Victoria there is an article on the front page about a repair clinic at St Mary's Church, also the ClockClinic in LRR may be able to help, or any horologist for that matter
