Madeleine McCann ~ Suspect Arrested in Germany

Just heard this as breaking news on LBC!!

I believe this is to keep the case 'active' because there is a statute of limitations cut-off date approaching, after which the case against the suspect in Germany would have to be dropped.

Hello Sue,Apparently the suspect is already in prison in Germany for other offences.What I have just read on the BBC website, is that Portugal have "declared" in Madeleine's case.  I think this is the first step in Portuguese law before someone is arrested and/or charged.  But it is brilliant news and I hope they have the right person!
