New domestic abuse service for Putney, Southfields & Roehampton
For anyone in Roehampton, Putney or Southfields. If you're in a relationship where you're being emotionally, mentally or physically abused, there is help at hand. You may feel trapped and not know what to do. Every Wednesday from 27 April, 10am-12.30pm you can drop in to the Picasso Building, Minstead Gardens, Roehampton. There will be a lawyer to give legal advice, a housing officer to explore housing options, and a domestic abuse advocate available to give safety advice and explore your options with you. This is all being supported by the Council, Hestia and Citizen's Advice. The earlier you get help, the better. If translators are needed, they will do their very best to accommodate you. Please share and tell anyone you might know who needs help. Privacy and discretion are the watchwords.
