The electorate should elect the police force they want.  It should not be a political football like the NHS.

But which electorate Robert?Those that elect the national Government or those that elect the Mayor.The current situation is too cosy for both Khan and Patel. Claiming the successes but blaming each other when things go wrong.We should remember that both agreed to extend Dick only a couple of months ago!

No we just need to decide to we want a police service or a police force.  The electorate should decide.
