New Palm Tree bar issue?

Not the same one, but another project that will likely make the High Street more noisy and rowdy:A place called Chickn 79 or so should replace the Trespass shop with unknown hours and serving alcohol.As someone living just across from it with a young child, this is not a welcomed addition to the area. On top of that the letter they sent to the residents was misleading, only mentioning "Alterations including installation of replacement shopfront" and not mentioning the change of use from E to A3I encourage anyone who doesn't want the McDonalds issues to double up (littering, noise, ASB) to object the case here : https://planning2.wandsworth.gov.uk/planningcase/comments.aspx?case=2022/0243

It's already been granted!https://planning2.wandsworth.gov.uk/planningcase/comments.aspx?case=2022%2f0243No consideration again for residents, as the letters we received in the post only mentioned "alterations to the front" and never that it would be a late night spot to buy alcohol.ONLY 24 letters were sent!The planning office Deniss Nikandrovs looks like he's about 25 years old, probably not the person who's going to be concerned about resident's sleep.Another sham from Wandsworth Council

There was an application in for similar for what was the old Ryness shop. Something called Bababoom. But it must have been withdrawn as there are just to let signs in the window and the application letter in the window has gone.

Must have a look. I hope there's a condition that they have to serve food with alcohol, and can't just serve drinks. And I wonder what the hours are? Must all be on the planning application.

I made a mistake in the use category. Apparently the new system with E (Use Class E – Commercial, Business and Service) covers and includes the old A3 use so anyone can change a shop into a restaurant without having to apply for a change of use... Or even into a nursery or an industrial  process building!I think it's a pretty wide definition of a commercial unit but that's where the law leaves us.
