The dangers of pollution
I picked this up originally in this week's New Scientist but that will be behind a paywall. It looks like lead pollution from petrol in the '60s and '70s had a serious affect on the IQs of children born in the US during that period. (I'm sure it did elsewhere but that's where this study was done!) Indicates the need to do something about the pollution in our cities now before we disadvantage the current generations of children in some way? ULEZ isn't perfect, so campaign to improve it as it's extended?https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2022/03/220307162011.htm
