Is it good news? 

Hello,I have just read that the Met is investigating No. 10 parties and that Sue Grays' report is delayed.....Is this good news?  While Gray's report was not to include information on "criminality" or information to be used by the Met for a possible investigation, it now transpires that "investigation was launched as a "result of the information provided by the Cabinet Office inquiry team", led by civil servant Sue Gray."Questions will be asked in the HoC today at about 12.30pm but we know what Rees-Mogg is going to say.....

Ed. Perhaps, but if there's 24x7 armed security protecting the physical boundary are the cameras scrutinised that closely ..In any case, I'd imagine if someone was watching the live feeds any comments will just be recorded as part of the interviews that took place by Gray or the police investigators. We don't even know if there are many cameras inside the Downing Street complex?

All the polls since the Brexit vote have shown a majority would now have voted to remain. Most intelligent people change their views when they learn something was a mistake.

That's possible mist places used to be 31 days although with a digitalised system would expect it to be longer than that.It is of course possible that there is none or very limited in the garden and other areas to protect the privacy of visiting members of state etc and their staff.ie off the cuff discussions with security staff or colleagues during negotiations etc.Also possible after Hancocks love in that any  existing systems were checked and cleaned.

Has anyone noticed that CCTV has not been mentioned concerning party gate?Are we to believe that No. 10 and gardens has no CCTV and is not monitored?

Interesting that one of his Brexit allies was telling Johnson to go. Perhaps they think he's tainted Brexit? It does seem to be the case in the UK today, (perhaps always?), that people excuse politicians provided they represent their views on other issues.Policies and personalities seem to get very muddled. It is not difficult to see why when certain personalities with little integrity are wheeled out to condemn the government. I would like to say it is lazy journalism but the odds appear to be against that.So yes Paul there is truth in what you say but that doesn't mean no action should be taken. It may also explain why those opposed never mention process.Good democracies are transparent. There are no calls from either side concerning increasing transparency, quite the opposite.The whole system needs a good dose of sunlight IMO.
