I will be forever thankful to Boris for making Brexit happen  At times over the last 30 years or so when people wised up that we were being coerced into things we had not signed up for, it appeared an impossible target.So many grateful thanks BorisWhen he took over from Ken Livingstone, again I was delighted  In case people can't remember Ken took over the GLC in most dubious circumstances   Lying doesn't cover it.  However he became Mayor under his own merits with no support from Labour, quite the contrary.No terrible issues and a few successesKhan is another matter.  Totally despicable,especially to motorists, and his attitude to knife crime However I am disappointed with Boris's laissez faire attitude and would prefer him to set a better exampleNotwithstanding, can't thank you enough Boris

It is along the ideas that I proposed on previous threads.£2 for 4 wheel 75g/km or less£2 for 2 wheel greater than 0g/kg£4 four or more wheels that meet the Euro 4/IV petrol or Euro 6/VI diesel standard.£10 everything else.I'm not suggesting the Oxford price structure is correct. Boris announced the first ULEZ while Mayor and then promptly buzzed off before it was put in place.Our Tory Govt was taken to the High Court and lost three times because of their inability to deal or even present strategies to deal with the illegal air pollution in the UK (it wouldn't increase popularity would it) the onus fell on the new Mayor of London to take tough action to deal with it.  Of course other countries in Europe were already dealing with theirs but the UK Govt while in the EU lobbied for the limits to be lowered so that the state of our air here didn't seem so bad...The French have just banned some plastic packaging of fruit and vegetables but plastic is a by-product of oil and we are still struggling to not only deal with the lobbying from that industry but are still quietly subsidising the use of it, aren't we?

Khan has delivered on his manifesto with regard to air quality, so bleating that he has been nasty to motorists is getting it backwards - he would deserve criticism if he hadn't taken action. Your comment about knife crime makes it sound like Khan is handing out knives. I believe he is against knife crime and trying to tackle it in the face of vengeful tory cuts to the Met. Meanwhile Boris remains the lazy, lying incompetent criminal that he was as mayor, wasting public money on a fantasy bridge.
