FOUND: BARCLAYCARD

I found a Barclaycard with the name Mrs J Gulliford this morning on Dryburgh Road. I returned it to the bank in the High Street before thinking of finding local sites (I am only staying in Putney for a few days) Unfortunately they said they would cut it up, but I thought I would let any Gullifords know that it was found even if they now have to get a new one.

IMPERATIVE to report full details of the loss and aftermath to both police and Barclaycard. The latter are a bit more picky than they used to be about taking the side of the cardholder  -- and covering the thief's use of the card. Their insurance should cover you.

This is one of the reasons I had my contactless facility removed from my Barclaycard  To me £100 is quite a lot to lose especially so near to Christmas

Nick, lucky it was found, could your wife find out where the card was used, then ring the bank to see if there was camera at the cash point.

Oh sorry to hear that! Does she know roughly when she lost it? I found it at about 9.30 this morning, actually where Egliston Road meets Dryburgh Road. Do you think the thief just chucked it after using it?

Thanks Lynn and Matt,Just seen this now! Yes, this is my dear wife's. She's cancelled it but unfortunately not before someone had spent a load of money on it.This now solves what had happened.
