Sadly no strawberries in the Telegraph!Thankyou for the kind words Sue, i've just suffered a very bad bereavement so it did cheer me up a little.
I think Matt is one of the best cartoonists around. He is always spot on, but is never vicious as some cartoonists are.As for looking after family members at home. Not always possible if the dementia sufferer develops aggression.

I think Matt's cartoons are supposed to be satire or irony rather than humour? Nothing particularly humorous in Johnson's failure to deliver the grandiose plans that he promises whether that's care costs, railways, the Brexit NI protocol ... or buses and bridges. Even the ENO was taking the p*ss out of Johnson during HMS Pinafore - with a lookalike on a wire waving union jacks during 'He is an Englishman" and a cheer from the audience when he landed in the sea :-) I don't think anyonbe in or associated with the arts likes him after he stitched them up with Brexit travel and performances.
Sean, I was just making an example, yes we know men do as well, especially if their wife etc has problems. Or Children, parents. etc, etc.
(Sorry, Matt!)
It must be that strawberry outfit, Sue? :-)
Men are also capable of looking after family members you know?

Oh I read the title and thought it was about OUR Matt! Instead it was just another mediocre cartoon, what a disappointment.😟P.S. Not that I wanted our Matt to be uncomfortable and painful, he's far too sweet to wish that on him.😉

It's a shame years ago when families used to be larger and women didn't work so much. They would look after their own family members. Just the same way parents with disabled children do. Shame this couldn't be the same now, anything to stop the Government getting your money at least a family member could get it instead. (Obviously not in all cases, depending on the disability.)
