Paul Dacre does chickens out

Oh dear, Dacre has flounced out of the competition to be head of Ofcom in a huff because he was turned down (as "unappointable") the first time round.  In a letter to the Times he makes a cheap shot at the civil servants who, of course, are in no position to answer back. An unfair question?Apparently, BoJo the blob opened up the position again to give Dacre another chance....  Not good!

Any recommendations for the position Richard?The main issue, like so many sectors, has been a lack of government policy over the decades (all colours of government) leaving regulators with impossible tasks.

Mind boggles!  If he was "unappointable" the first time round, why persist!Not too sure what the blob means, as in "with blast at the blob"....
