Shingles & Flu Jabs
Check out whether you are eligible for these free on www.nhs.uk. You can learn more about them there. I spent some time last year looking up and ringing round pharmacies to find a flu jab for an Essential Worker who had had several online booked apptmts cancelled by the pharmacy in the closest town. Making time/taking time off and arranging childcare when both parents are working isn't easy. It can also be difficult for carers of the sick, disabled and elderly to get away to get these. A lovely lady from the Salvation Army sat in for me while I went one year.If you meet thr eligibility criteria then you are entitled to a free jab. As I understand it the pharmacy should inform your GP that you have had your flu jab. I think you have to have your shingles jab at your GPs practice. Be proactive - check out the NHS website. Shingles can be very nasty and damaging and fatal.
