Thanks, Carole. I'd say, being a cat, Felicity was head of the household. Interesting, Simon (and sometimes Katie) at VoWHL was Felicity's (and our other cats' ) vet until he left after the MediVet takeover. We decided to change vets as, firstly, the continuity of personal contact with Simon wasn't going to continue, secondly, as we had sold our car a visiting vet would be more convenient than arranging a Zipcar or taxi and, thirdly, most importantly, we felt a visiting vet would be less stressful for Felicity particularly when she couldn't continue. As Barbara say, CT Vets were very good, caring and understanding.And, yes, fostering a cat has been discussed but as I noted there were other considerations that mean we don't wasn't to do that immediately.
