Yesterday afternoon there was a queue outside the vaccine centre at Queen Mary's, they seemed busy. I was not at the Hospital for that as already had 3rd jab. In and out in no time having my knee drained then a steroid injection in knee. Was so pleased to have it done as limping for a while now.

On a average this week 30,000 1st jabs a day. 350,000 boosters a day.Had my flu jab couple of months back just walked into a pharmacy in colliers wood with my brother and got mine done as well.He tells me they are still doing walk flu and boosters.

HalloI am having my flu jab on Monday at Husbands, so they obviously still have the vaccine - hopefully still in stock on Monday!

Flu Jabs: Maybe Husbands Pharmacy still has the offer I saw on Positively Putney - or is that just for businesses?

Interesting to see on the Boots website that flu jabs are not available to the over 65s but are to younger people. This was last year:https://www.rcgp.org.uk/about-us/news/2020/september/gps-are-not-rationing-flu-jabs.aspx
Yes, and they told me about the shortage - not that I haven't heard the same thing from several different sources. Even if were to get one today, that would be 2 months later than they got to me last year.

Michael, have you rang your Surgery and asked them.

I had my flu jab at the small Boots on Sept 30. I've been there for the past couple of years and they emailed me, can't remember if that was back in August, to make an appointment which I did.

There is a shortage of flu vaccine at the moment - that is part of the problem
Don't know if i missed read your post, but they had been doing the flu jab at the Putney Scout Hall.
Who is organising roll out boosters and flu jabs? It doesn't appear to be as good as earlier roll outs. There seem to be fewer places to get them and there are reports of GP's practices not alerting their patients especially if they are not mobile phone users. Make sure you and your friends/relations are up to speed on this. Not as much effort being made to encourage those who missed out on first two jabs here in UK either. They are available. Many GPs practices seem to have been sold during the pandemic.
There was a queue because the booster programme is being mismanaged - there was a 2 hour turnaround time as against the c. 30 minutes being achieved for the original vaccine rollout."Successful vaccine rollout" continues to be a government boast - yet we have one of the lowest vaccination rates in Europe now, many of us with the sub-par (but cheaper!) AZ vaccine and can anyone find a flu vaccine? I can't.
