Do you understand this?

Climate change: Do I need to stop eating meathttps://www.bbc.co.uk/news/explainers-59232599If you scroll down the article, there is a graph entitled:Beef has the highest carbon footprint - but the same foods can have a range of impacts.  Kilograms of greenhouse emissions per servingLook at the list of foods....  Am I correct in being confused?

Ed, there might be something about that in a recent New Scientist article. The venison is probably not bad from that aspect but I don't think it scales up as a major source of protein; unless we expand Richmond Park! However, there are other reasons people don't eat meat. I'll try and remember to look at recent New Scientists Sunday or Monday.

It would be interesting to see how high impact Tofu compares with local grass fed venison :)

Tofu, nuts and beans look ok, but I  guess will obviously vary depending on where   how grown, etc - and beer doesn't look too bad, are British real ales better and German/Czech beers adhering to the German brewing laws better than fizzy larger made in a chemical factory? :-)

I guess if it is UK grass fed beef (AGW) then it will have less impact than UK Organic beef which only requires a minimum of 60% forage in their diet. Which I think is very low - but is likely to be better than normal UK beef.What Australian grass fed beef will be taking into account shipping I have no idea :) https://agreenerworld.org.uk/certifications/certified-grass-fed/standards/
