Kitane Cashmere

HalloOK, I know it's not really a Putney thread, but just to let you all know, I bought cashmere jumper from Kiltane which arrived with moth holes!! Sent photos of the moth holes, had to have the jumper dry cleaned and mended, and Kiltane have not even come back with a possible refund!!!!!!!The company's customer care  department is rubbish, and even though I stated quite categorically that the jumper was not fit for purpose-  no refund, or even acknowledgement of my last email.  Watch out everyone!!!!o

Hallo, thanks everyone for your input.The reason I did not return the jumper was that I had thrown away the packaging, and thought that photos were a good enough example of the problem.

Just for clarification, credit card refunds are claimed via Section 75; debit card refunds are claimed via the Chargeback scheme.

I am not clear as to why you did not send the item back immediately. Does the company really not have a refund/returns option?

If you purchased the item on a credit card you can do a charge back for the payment to be refunded.

Thanks for the warning. I've now resolved not to buy wool garments. I feel sort of sad about this, but I share my house with a zillion moths and combating them is an uphill struggle. It's extraordinary that a retailer should supply something already affected.
