Missing Cat

Coco (light coffee coloured Rag Doll with dark brown face and ears) has gone missing from Exeter House, Putney Heath.  I don’t know where she has gone. Is she in your garden or shed?She is an “indoor” cat and not used to being outside.Please call me if you spot her – Coco is a placid cat and would allow herself to be picked up. I do hope Coco is found soon safe and well. It's possible someone local thinks she's a stray and is feeding her perhaps?

Let's hope Coco's curiosity kicked in and she has just wandered off to explore her surroundings and will wander back when she gets too hungry.  I feel for her owner as I have always had house cats myself and would be frantic with worry if in the same situation.  Fingers crossed for good news very soon.

I hope it’s not the case that’s she’s been stolen, but it does happen.  Exeter House is surrounded by a vast land of trees, bushes, lawns.  I think a reward offer could help.

Hi Pamela it is good to read that so much effort is being made to find Coco. Ragdolls are very beautiful cats generally with a placid nature so it is possible that she may have been picked up and stolen. I really hope this is not the reason why Coco has not responded to her name and the enticement of treats but it is a concern that cannot be ignored. Maybe the offer of a reward for the person who 'finds' her ...?

Patricia has put leaflets thru the flats and also put up posters. The estate manager is aware of coco missing and has checked locked sheds etc. As she is neutered I don’t think she’ll be far away.  We’ve gone around the grounds and is not responding to her name be called and the rattling of treat bags. Patricia is doing this day and night.  Just wondering if she’s in one of the flats ?

Hi Patricia.  So sorry to read your beautiful Coco has gone awol. As she is normally a housecat it's likely that she is scared being outside and is hiding somewhere quite close to where you live.  Have you put notices on all the lampposts and telegraph posts around your location, in local shops if there are any near you and contacted local vets to see if she has been taken in? Is Coco wearing a collar with her name and contact details on a tag and is she chipped? I do hope she is home safe and sound very soon. xx
