Traffic Jam.

Spoke to the Manager at the Bus Garage, he was talking outside. It appears shops round on the Upper Rich Rd, opposite Fox & Hounds cellars flooded with sewage.

Of course due to the climate emergency work will be carried out 24 7 to reduce the impact on the environment.It won't be the case of weeks with noone on site I'm sure :)

Coincidentally had a questionaire from Thames Water today Quite comprehensive, re flooding  I wonder if Thames has a criteria for people responding  Obviously where I live, Commondale, we are prone to flooding but I wouldn't really have thought of URR

Wait till Monday. Presumably diversions need to be careful not to push drivers into the ULEZ zone.

A section of Upper Richmond Road from the Post Office to the traffic lights at Putney hill/High Street is closed and will remain so until 15 November. Saw no sign of sewage spills when walking past this morning (although obv couldn't see  below road surface) but no work had begun then. Silly diversions clogging up the area when traffic should be diverted through Gwendolen Avenue and Chartfield Avenue.
