Bus times text number 87287

Can anyone tell me why my phone no longer gets a response from the above text number. It used to work, but now all I get is “message send failure”. I can get bus times on the app of the same name, but not the simple text messaging system. Any ideas?

To answer the original question, do you have the number in your phone book? If so delete the entry and remake. You may have accidentally stopped it from working.

Thank you both. I have those apps and do use them, but prefer not to have ‘location services’ on as it drains the phone battery.

Bus Times app is also very good.

Use city mapper - it tells you the live bus times. It really is very good
