John Lewis advert

Was apalled by this advert  Obviously showing my age  But would any parent tolerate this behaviour from a child ? Not talking about the dressing up, all children do that, but to trash indiscriminately, no no no..  For an insurance advert too  John Lewis you have definitely let standards slip

I'm surprised it took so long.  Trying to be edgy and oh so woke backfired spectacularly.  Lots of egg on lots of faces at JL's marketing agency.  Free range of course.

Let Life Happen - Reality is that kid's gonna get hosed down and smacked on his arse by Dad when he gets back to this mess....Oh yeah, they're not going to cover any damage like this because it'll be argued that you wilfully let it happen, so you could actually take this to ASA for falsely advertising this is what they would pay out for.

Probably says online only not available in-store too.I can't image the store manager being happy after the store is wrecked and the parent asks: "Surely John Lewis stores have JL Insurance?"

Bearing in mind that none of that damage is accidental would JL insurance actually pay out?
