National Grid

National grid, warns blackouts this winter. Anything else they can throw at us. It must be all these cars charging their cars all the time, as they can't drive far. So if we have blackouts nobody will be able to charge their vehicles. So don't buy electric, the world is barmy.

I think theft just said the risk of blackouts had increased, there is contingency but it's just decreased because of factors such as the fault with the cable from France:https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2021/oct/07/risk-of-uk-power-cuts-this-winter-has-increased-says-national-grid?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_OtherI do wonder if the risk of power cuts increases if it might reverse the trend to allow many to work from home? Many offices now have backup generators to keep key services running, but I don't think many people have backup generators at home to keep their broadband modems, routers, wi fi, etc going in the event of power outages?
