Michael, just curious, have you a drone, only wondered how you took pictures of the pontoon at Rochester from a height. We moor nearer the High Street, Rochester cruising club. May bank Holiday you have the Sweeps Festival and soon the Dickens coming up to Xmas, it gets packed. Only go to the Sweeps Festival, otherwise rather rough waters getting there.

Thanks Michael, I'll have a look at your Whitstable photo's. We moor further down the river by the bridge that goes from Rochester side to Strood.

Ha,ha, Barbara - no, I don't own a drone. Nothing as sophisticated as that; the images you're referring to were taken from a high speed train travelling from Ashford to St Pancras as it travelled high over the water.
