Ed, it wasn't a hundred percent traffic free, when I took that picture in August '20 they had a moveable barrier and let some vehicles have access - taxis, service vehicles and presumably emergency vehicles. Or perhaps it was protection from the cyclists still allowed to use it :-)I noticed The Real Greek seating was still there this evening but I didn'tlook at what the traffic controls were as I was focussing on going to the right theatre!

Well it's not quite like being in Athens, Crete or Santorini. However, it was nice to have a traffic free St Martin's Lane and the Real Greek has a lot of vegan options so it's not all bad.
My goodness, there is a lot of pretending in that photograph!Very sad photograph, if I may say so.
