Various Councils have Energiesprong retrofits
It hasn't been easy to find much about it. It is supposed to be like putting a tea cosy on your home and you don't even have to move out while it is being carried out! https://energiesprong.org/about/Unfortunately our wood and brick buildings have not proved as easy to retrofit by insulating inside walls as this can cause condensation which rots timbers.
