Met Police statement

via Twitter'We understand and respect the right to protest but not the right to cause disruption to the public in this way. This affects critical national infrastructure and diverts many officers from responding to emergencies in their communities.'Also, people delayed by this action may lose their jobs due to arriving late, very late in some cases.These obstructions do not help the cause and only turn people against it imo.

Yes, all the police houses have been sold off. Visited friends in Suffolk on Monday who've converted and expanded a village police house into a fantastic large residence, modern residence (complete with heat pump and three phase electricity supply :-)

If I were in the first line of cars I would nudge up to the line and blast my horn continuously. They would then have the choice of a perforated eardrum or move out of the way.

Just shows how apt the film "An Inconvenient Truth" is when there are those who can think of nothing other than "getting back to normal".  There is no normal during change.
