Spam has been around for at least a couple of decades and phishing seems nearly as old - can't remember when I saw my first PayPal phish, but it was before I had an account! Of course we now have bacn (bacon). Those emails that aren't completely unwanted like spam but aren't priority - things like invites to seminars, conferences or new products from people you do business with, etc which one might be interested but don't need immediate attention; email security vendors now have filtering products that will put the 'bacn' in a separate folder to the urgent or unwanted spam email :-) https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=bacn
