New experise

Looks like all the amateur virologists and the like that have infested Facebook and other forums for the last 18 months are bored and have retrained as middle east peace and war experts.

Lots of war experts on the other side too.Of course they are not suggesting that they go themselves to war or even their children - just other people's sons and daughters.Perhaps basic training could be given to them and they could join one of the forces opposed to the Tailban?After all I do not believe the Taliban have any restrictions on age, health etc.

As far as I can see the amateur Middle East peace and war experts (NB - Afghanistan is not in the Middle East but this is not a geography lesson) are occupying key government positions like Prime Minister, Foreign Secretary and Defence Secretary. That is the ones who aren't generals in the British Army.
