This article promoted some discussion on one of the Facebook science groups I belong to. Some who've read the DM article thought it was a real photo image captured by Australian astronomers. In practice if you look at the NASA/JPL postings it's actually from an animated artist's impression! And I guess the Australians have been analysing the Kepler data for their research. Typical misleading, sloppy reporting from the DM? :-(
Is any of their other reporting to be trusted?
