Probably best not to get in personal disputes on here Barbara as it can get ugly.I agree with you that Freddie is not best qualified to give you advise after his ranting and raving a few days ago.

Andy, I lived Barnes, went to school in Sheen. Loved the Bull at Sheen and Castle Richmond in the 60's, been in Putney since 71. Sorry getting on a bit I'm afraid. Went over Hammersmith bridge, from Barnes to get to J.Lyons in the offices from 15 and  bit. So long ago. Yes been here a long time.

There are no rules about where anyone’s from that I’m aware of. Do quote them if I’m wrong! We occasionally get posts from a chap who has a heap of fantastic  memories and knowledge of the town but emigrated many years ago. Should he not be allowed to comment?? What are your boundaries for  ‘qualifying as from Putney’? How long after to move out of ‘Putney’ shoukd you be barred from posting? How long before you start a post about me after you find my comments irritating? Eh?

Also if you go back to page 2 Matt Palmer fame at last, if you look at the bottom posts, you will find another member has told her to do the same. Start her own posts.

Struggling to see what issue you have with Phillipa, other than perhaps she's competing with you on the number of posts you rack up daily. Or is that she often disagrees with you? certainly seems to be personal.

Carol, yes I was rude, Philippa, has the same problem on Ealing Forum, they seem to argue with her as well. So perhaps she just rubs people up the wrong way. Ealing Forum.

I don't think you will find I am the only one who is fed up with Philippa, perhaps she can start her own threads and see how many other people answer. Philippa is on every other site as well, Chiswick, Brentford. Most of us talk about Putney, but it always gets turned to somewhere else what ever area she lives in. Timbuktu comes to mind.
