Sorry not about Putney and I'm also not being rude. But this young man who wanted to look Korean, was a nice looking young man already. But what I am confused about is when people change to something else, what about the Adams Apple only men have Adams Apple as a Doctor at the Hospital had a good laugh at me. I had a Goiter come up suddenly on my neck about 10yrs ago and they didn't give me Thyroxin as the problem wasn't with my thyroid it was nodules on the thyroid that they cut out. But I said to the Surgeon afterwards , I thought it was my Adam apple going up and down when I swallowed, he did laugh and said women don't have Adams Apples only men do. So with people changing from men to women what about the Adams Apple that will still show.

Sue, as I pointed out in the other thread the world isn't binary as there are intersex people who have the wrong number of X & Y chromosomes. As you said, that's the way they're born. But my friends who are gay would also say that's just the way they were born, just no one understands why. (I have seen a theory it might be some epigenetic effect but I don't think that's been substantiated.)

But if they're happy why should it matter to anyone else?"In other words: everybody has the right to look a prat if it makes them happy.  Fruit Loops ...🍓🍌🍓However I draw the line at referring to a singular person as 'they'. When I was taught grammar at primary school the word 'they' was a personal pronoun referring to two or more people, and as far as I am concerned it still does. If some people do not want to be defined by the pronouns he/she, I will make them happy and refer them as 'it'.All this non-binary crap is ridiculous.🙄P.S. The biggest and ugliest Adams Apple belongs to Andy Murray.😲 However the rest of him is equally gross. In my opinion.

True, Barbara, I doidn't really know. But a quiet word with Mr Google and Wikipedia tells us that we all have them but they're more prominent in men as the Adam's apple grows during puberty.https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam%27s_appleMore discussion with Mr Google reveals that reduction or augmentation processes appear to exist for those that desire either.Well, we've learnt something? 🙂

Michael, I didn't say I cared what anybody did, I asked perhaps a medical question that you are unable to answer. If people change themselves they will still have an Adams Apple.

Does it matter, other than perhaps to the person themselves? But if they're happy why should it matter to anyone else? Personally I've no desire for any medical intervention that isn't absolutely essential for being alive and able to function but if others feel differently that's not my business ...
