Just received WBC email asking to verify identity and address for electoral purposes. Entered required codes and said I wasn't a robot, then the whole thing stuck and wouldn't progress. I am assuming this was genuine, but just WBC folly. Anyone else had the message with same/better/worse outcome?

Went to generic WBC website and that worked OK. Must have been glitch.

My wife and I both received a similar email yesterday.  She submitted details not realising I'd also received one. Think it worked ok. I wondered if I also responded if we'd get two votes ...It would need to be an obscure scam as it doesn't ask for any personal details: they're in the email, and all the addresses seem to be ".gov.uk" addresses so it seems valid.

I had the same and checked it out on the WBC webpage, filled it out with no issues
