Dark Supermarket opens in Putney

The latest threat to Putney High Street has arrived.  It's based in the old Trinity Hospice furniture shop on Putney Bridge Road.  Gorillas is a German food delivery company.  £1.80 a pop to have your shopping delivered within 10 minutes.  They say at supermarket prices but without downloading the app you can't find out.

That will last as long as their cash burning. It's financed the same way as a digital startup, but at some point either they will need another massive round of fundraising or the investors will seriously review the business model. I don't give it two years before it dies or is bought and merged into a more reliable activity by an American company.

Oh, please!! Escooters and indeed Ebikes are illegal in the Borough of Wandsworth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Please, Wandsworth Council, sort out what is and what isn't legal!!!Also, escooters are skooting along the pavements!!!Please, do something!!!
