Guessing that from Putney to Clapham Common, a journey I do by bus fairly often, would take 20 minutes. That would be £1 activation and 20 x 15p per minute = £4. Assuming one isn’t over 60 and travels free, it’s cheaper and arguably safer to get the bus. Or am I missing something? (apart from the possible eco aspect which I’m sure a certain person here will jump up to educate me on).
