Local Putney man does us proud

Just watching Cameron Norrie play in Mens Final at Queens. 1 set all and he's s just won a tie break in the second set!

The real local boy to follow and cheer on is Joe Salisbury, who with his partner won the mixed doubles at the French Open and the men's doubles at Queen's last year, amongst other notable wins.  He was  born and bred in Putney, went to school locally, and is most definitely one to watch :)

I am well aware of all that Liam. But he is living in Putney currently so deserves the attribute 'local', I think.

Well I'm glad he's doing so well, but I'd hardly call him a local Putney boy.  Yes, he lives in Putney at the moment and has British parents, but he was born in South Africa, then moved to New Zealand (his parents still live there), came to the UK aged 16 for 3 years then went off to the US before settling in Putney!
