Stanley Green's Placard - The Protein Man of Oxford Street. I'd forgotten about this chap in Oxford Street. Provided a very useful service if one was trying to get along Oxford Street, just had to walk a few paces behind him and everyone got out of his way; he wasn't the fastest of walkers (lack of protein?) but it avoided weaving around and potential collision. He started his campaign against protein in 1968 and continued until his death in 1993.
