The Middle East

Why is it that so many peoples who profess to follow a religion which they say preaches peace and love engage in such horrors as we are witnessing now in the news coverage? The killing of children can never be justified yet there are some who excuse it so. Sickening, absolutely sickening - where are the voices in opposition to the violence?

Let's hope so, Ed. We passed a large pro-Palestinian march I Piccadilly today on our way to the RA. (Some of them seemed to be having tea outside the RA, in great Britain tradition...definitely not extremists. )

Sky and BBC online news services still report it's holding, although BBC is reporting some clashes in East Jerusalem. That sounds like civil unrest rather than military action by either side.

Well, if we're concerned for the Middle East then we shouldn't be sending aid to Palestine for the "Security Forces" known as Hamas, a Terrorist organisation as the EU, UK, US all agree on. If they can't buy arms, then they can't lob them into Israel and try to get past an Air Defence system. 10% of launched munitions are landing on their own lands and I doubt that Gaza has an Air Raid warning system. Not that Hamas would allow Civilians to use those shelters, because then the only people above ground would be viable targets and military personnel.

Yes Clifford, I actually mentioned this today to somebody it's disgusting, how can they hurt these little children. Imagine if it happened here.
