There seems to be bits of detail on this from reading tweets. IMO it now looks like the Labour version of events are closer to what happened.With the Greens being many people's second choice and possible first given that Starmer has now thrown away all his pledges when standing as candidate this does seem unfortunate.The Greens have become the third party in many parts of the UK over taking the Lib Dem but perhaps in doing so they are more Lib Dems than progressive?Transparency is vital in democracy - whoever we vote for we do not like being duped!

As I understand it it's because Labour threw their toys out of the pram and flounced out of negotiations. You couldnt make it up.
