Lies, damned lies...and election pledges

Shaun Bailey, pledge no 3, "building 100'000 homes and selling them for £100k each" - what a daft idea. If he can deliver a 100'000 new homes, rent them to people on low income, why sell a property for far less than its worth only for the owner to benefit hugely at the tax payers expense in years to come? It doesn't make sense to me.

Did the mayor pledge to increase his share of the council tax by 10%? Us suckers have to pay it & you lot say nothing. I'm surprised that you are not blaming Boris for not giving  him the necessary subsidies to fund his transport pledges.

Perhaps Shaun should cut out the middlemen and hand the assets straight to France/Germany - which I believe now own a number of the UK utilities post privatisation :)
