Yes Andy,The procurement of vaccines was, surprisingly, excellent perhaps as a result of "capitalism and greed" mentioned by BoJo.That did enable the NHS to roll it out so successfully, and the NHS did it and not the government. As for the EU, they are in a mess with regard to the production and rollout of vaccines. But please bear in mind that Hungary, very early on, took its own path and bought the Sputnik V directly from Russia. Every Member State could, and can, go its own way. Perhaps it was easier to let the Commission do the ground work for them?But, and there is always a but, the EU has so many positives that, however bad they are dealing with the production and rollout of vaccines, this does not negate their positives.As you say, give credit where credit is due.
