I am sure both sides felt equally aggrieved. I remember reading "you lost, get over it".Some of the things I do remember that did not materialize were the 350m for the NHS, the easiest deal ever, they need us more than we need them.....Hand in heart, the 2016 referendum was a really shameful episode in British history. Were remainers a bullying lot? I really do not think the Project Fear was that incorrect - though perhaps vociferous. The truth is that the British economy has lost 40%$ of its exports to the EU and the government is now trying to get deals with the Asian TTPI... Does this really make sense to you? The EU is not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, neither is the UK.But throwing away that level of trade for nothing is, as far as I am concerned, ridiculous. Please bear in mind that the UK was a founding member of the EC, EEC and signed up to the EU through the Maastricht and Lisbon treaties."Possibly this is why the Remainers misunderstood the feelings of the electorate are were over confident".... Will the fishermen agree, will the City agree, will the exporters agree?I am not against you, I just think that truth and honesty have gone overboard. Are you really happy that Research and Development have lost a massive amount of funding? Please remember, the UK signed for all the different rules and regulations, nothing was imposed. What I cannot, and will not, ever forget or forgive, is that our youth has lost out in Erasmus programmes. Closing doors to education is unforgivable!!!
