I have just read the summary report on the responses and it is quite surprising!  "A brief executive summary below:  81.% of all responses were opposed to the introduction of parking charges  84% were opposed to the charging schedule of 9.00am – 6.00pm 7 days a week  83% considered the proposed rates too high  46% considered the 6‐hour maximum stay about right
83.37% of all survey participants considered the proposed rates to be too high.    12.16% considered the proposed rates to be about right 4.12% considered the proposed rates to be too low" The rest of the summary continues taking into consideration responses that supported the proposals only...... Hmmmmmmm.....

I wonder if it may lead to people driving around the Park and not stopping.The car parks do need some investment. Signs up on Saturday saying car parks were full but the Pen Pond one was a third empty.No doubt someone will mention the green issue but why does the Pen Pond cafe have a huge diesel I assume generator? Needed to the coffee machine I assume.
