Potential car theft gang in Putney?
We witnessed a group of teenagers selectively placing flyers on cars on Mascotte Road. They appeared to be targeted German brand cars (Audi, Mercedes, BMW).The flyers were for some scrap metal company. We called the company and they claimed not to know of any flyers or marketing campaign for their business.We suspect it may be a case of pre-scanning potential cars for theft. Does anyone know more about this? Please keep an eye out in case they are targeting your own car.
