Out of date sayings
I find myself using sayings which are meaningless to younger people. Here are a few:This is where I came in.(From the days when cinemas ran 2 films and you could go in and out at any time).Not on the same wavelength.(From radio tuning).Jumping on the bandwagon.(I think this comes from when the circus used to come to town and the whole troupe would advertise their presence with a noisy bandwagon at the front. Probably American in origin).Any more you can think of?
