I used to have them; it was traced down to red wine consumption, and since I stopped drinking red wine over 40 years ago, I've never had another attack. When a cluster started, it would be the whole left half of my face, which felt like having a migraine, tooth extraction, and left eyeball removal all at the same time. Two attacks a day like clockwork, at 10AM then again around 4PM. 3/4 of an hour each attack. I would not wish it on my worst enemy and never been this close to contemplating suicide. Each bout lasted an average of 3 weeks (which is why its called cluster headaches). I've never heard of a chiropractor being able to treat this; the only thing that worked (until it was withdrawn from the market) was ergotamine medihaler spray. However, since it was a poison, you were limited to a maximum number of units a week, and with 2 attacks a day, you easily reached the max within 4 days. Find out what your trigger is; keep a diary of all activities, food and drink consumed. I had molars extracted, brain scans etc, since it was thought that perhaps I had impacted molars, brain tumours, etc as the cause.
