"Greek husband, German close relatives"And to think our elected PM has to consult with these unelected officials- let's take back control of our parliamentary sovereignty!Excuse the alternative humour :-)

Initially I was responding to you, using your words. But, to be fair, we all have agendas, and we all use what evidence we need to suit our arguments (or "twist", as you put it).

Who are you talking to?

The NY Post could make The Sun blush with so me of their stories. They were pro Trump which can’t have done much for their circulation in NYC
Jonathan Callaway ● 1851d
I think that's the first (and hopefully last) time anyone has mentioned 'perspective' and the New York Post, that vile Murdoch rag, in the same sentence.

Stop twisting things to suit your agenda.
Exactly Matt.
surely the fact that is has a ? at the end shows that the OP wasnt accusing the queen of being rascist
Matt Palmer ● 1851d
It wasn't meant like that Jane and you know it. Stop twisting things to suit your agenda of having a go at Barbara at every opportunity.
It's racism that is ‘utterly despicable’. Megan and Harry did not link the queen to the remarks made about their child’s colour but the heading ‘Racist Queen?’ does.

But surely, by all that's holy, the Queen must be directly descended from William the Conqueror, and Alfred the Great, and just possibly from King Arthur? Or what's it all about?
The Greek royal family is in fact descended from the Danish Royal family. After independence from the Ottoman empire the powers of Europe appointed Prince William of Denmark as King George of Greece. The royal families of Europe are all interbred and the idea of commoners or non European DNA entering the bloodline of Heads of State didn't seem very popular in the nineteenth and early twentieth century - I wouldn't like to comment on the twenty first century. One probably ought to distinguish between xenophobia and racism? Who knows if the Queen is racist; from the news reports I've heard the comments about Megan and Harry's offspring were not attributed to the Queen. Perhaps all that in breeding is taking its toll?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greek_royal_familyhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_Philip,_Duke_of_Edinburgh

Call it morbid fascination Andy. As for the footie, Fulham had a rare moment of glory yesterday!👍🏻
Good luck Sue. I'd rather stick pins in my eyes, failing that I'll watch West Ham v Leeds (yeh thats how bad it is) on tv!!

I look forward to watching it tonight, popcorn time!😋Here's a perspective from across the pond, the New York Post:Meghan Markle reveals he true self in Oprah interview: Devinehttps://nypost.com/2021/03/07/meghan-markle-reveals-he-true-self-in-oprah-interview-devine/

"Both Meghan and her husband, Prince Harry, went out of their way to heap praise on Queen Elizabeth and would not point fingers directly at individuals."Doesn't sound like she accused the queen of being rascist?
Matt Palmer ● 1852d
What about Meghan's support for the Balham Donkey Sanctuary?
