@ AndyIt not the anti WPCC brigade who struggle with numbers it’s the WPCC.In 2008 (at the height of the then financial crisis) the valuer, Andy Lomax, of Drivers Jonas, sent the following email to the WPCC....“I set out below the text of an email I propose to send to the PCT's valuer. Are you happy that this properly reflects what the Conservators would like me to do?Subject to ContractI now have instructions from the Conservators to seek payment of £775,000 for the easement over the Conservators land at the former Putney Hospital plus the conservators legal and professional fees arising. The calculation of the payment will be familiar to you as it follows the approach you outlined to me when we met and the values you employed. It does, however, increase the split of marriage value to 50% (as I can see no reason for it to be otherwise) and does not deduct the cost of works to the Common as these are in the nature ofplanning requirements”It went on to provide the workings. The email was sent, and copied to the WPCC and Gregsons their lawyers.Lomax valued the land at £775,000 in 2008. The WPCC then ‘sold’ to the WPCT for £250,000 in a transaction which was a sham, as they knew the polyclinic scheme was cancelledThe WPCC and then CEO subsequently lied about it to levy payers and the Charity Commission.
